About Duncan:

Duncan started his radio work in the 1990s on a number of commercial radio stations in the South of England. This also involved various spells in radio management trying to satisfy ever demanding sales people.

Over the course of time he started to focus more on talk-based radio and in the last few decades has worked as a presenter for some of the UK's leading talk stations including talkSPORT, LBC and various BBC stations.

Always keen to return to playing real music on the radio, finding Radio Seagull was a revelation. With family who spent much of their lives in the merchant navy, the idea of presenting radio shows broadcast from a ship was one that had to be pursued. When the chance to join the Seagull crew arose, Duncan seized the opportunity.

Expect to hear music from the likes of Steely Dan, The Clash, Ray Charles, The Cure, Tom Petty, Kate Bush, Prefab Sprout, The Beatles, AC/DC, Neil Young, John Martyn, Santana and Warren Zevon. Duncan is also a big fan of jazz and blues, so you'll hear old and new tracks, plus some experimental stuff too.
